IMC offers the Pre-Departure Covid-19 Travel Swab Test. A Pre-Departure COVID-19 PCR Test is applicable for travellers who will be travelling from Singapore to a destination country that has a mandatory requirement to produce a negative COVID-19 PCR test prior to entry into the country. Your Swab Test can be done at any one of our four clinics and you will need to bring the below mentioned documentation.

What is the turnaround time for the Pre-Departure Covid-19 PCR swab?
After you have done the Pre-Departure COVID-19 PCR Test at our clinic, the test result is provided no later than 48 hours from the time of test taking.
Who can take the Pre-Departure COVID-19 PCR Test? Is there a minimum age limit?
Everybody can take the test, children and adults. There is no minimum age limit, however please ensure you check your destination countries requirements as age limits for children may vary.
Please note:
- Children below 12 years of age will have the Pre-Departure COVID-19 PCR Test done at our Children’s Clinic at Camden.
If you have frequent nose bleeds, recent surgery or trauma to your nose, a very crooked nose or nasopharyngeal cancer we will not be able to do the Swab Test at IMC.
How will test results be received?
If your test result comes back NEGATIVE, IMC will notify you via email of your result. You will receive a ‘Memo on Covid-19 real time RT-PCR Swab Test’ with your test result clearly defined.
If your test results come back POSITIVE, a Doctor from the clinic will contact you to make necessary arrangements. You will not be permitted to travel.
